Privacy Policy
Effective March 5, 2026
The Natural Law Institute (“the Institute,” “we,” “our”) respects your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the limited circumstances under which we share it.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you purchase a course, we collect your billing address as required for payment processing.
Payment Information
Payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, bank account details, or other payment credentials on our servers. Stripe’s handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
Usage Data
We collect basic usage data including pages visited, course progress, and access timestamps. This data is used to improve the platform and ensure course delivery functions correctly.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain your account and course access.
- Process transactions and send purchase confirmations.
- Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, purchase receipts).
- Improve the platform based on aggregate usage patterns.
- Respond to support inquiries.
We do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the following service providers, and only to the extent necessary to operate the platform:
- Stripe — for payment processing. Stripe receives the billing and payment information necessary to complete your transaction.
- Resend — for transactional email delivery. Resend receives your email address to deliver account and purchase-related messages.
We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety, or respond to a lawful government request.
4. Cookies
We use session cookies to maintain your login state and ensure the platform functions correctly. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, transaction records for tax compliance).

You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
