About the Natural Law Institute

A fellowship of practitioners and scholars building the intellectual infrastructure for lawful civilization: grammar, logic, testimony, rhetoric, behavioral economics, and strictly constructed natural law.

Our Purpose

The Natural Law Institute teaches what the modern university has abandoned: grammar, logic, testimony, rhetoric, behavioral economics, and strictly constructed natural law. These disciplines once formed the foundation of Western education. The Institute has taken up the work of restoring them.

Our fellows and community span the globe, applying natural law to every domain of human life. The aim is direct: to reverse industrialized deception and to hold every institution accountable to the laws that govern cooperation, reproduction, and the formation of civilization, whether those laws are acknowledged or ignored.

The Institute stewards, sponsors, and supports the creation of competent communities focused on cooperation and excellence. We work with states, organizations, businesses, and individuals who share the conviction that lawful civilization is worth the cost of restoring it.

Our method is education. Our curriculum of 28 courses, built from first principles, teaches a system of deciding: a complete, testable framework for determining what is lawful, what is moral, and what is true. The student learns to derive conclusions independently and to test them against evidence.
